Who’s your team?
How’s the season going?
Started really well and we were beating teams – that last season we would of usually struggled against – by 3-4 goals. But, in recent weeks getting knocked out of the Champions League was a big blow to Sevilla and it is not going to be nice seeing Manchester City winning the league.
What got you first interested in design in football?
From an early age, I have loved drawing different footballers and designing my own football boots in my sketchbook, and I have been sharing my artwork on social media for around 2 years now.
Who inspires you in design?
I have always loved graffiti art and became a big fan of Shepard Fairey, otherwise known as Obey Giant. In some of his pieces he has used this paper rip style which really caught my eye and looked really effective, so I wanted to incorporate this in my work – but put my own twist on it.
What’s been your favourite project to date?
Most recently working with BT Sport on their Champions League Draw artwork. This was a big opportunity to show off my skills along with 11 other great illustrators and designers.
What are you looking to do moving forward?
I am always on the look out to collaborate with other designers/ creatives and I would love to team up with adidas or Nike in the future. So, if there’s anyone reading this which could make this happen. Please get in touch.
Any plans for the World Cup?
Yes, working together with the lads from Art of Football to get a World Cup collection together so keep your eyes peeled.
